FightClub

In August of 2015 at the age of 39, I was diagnosed with two different types of cancer in my right breast. HER2 positive breast cancer and invasive ductal carcinoma. I was in shock and disbelief. I had some other family hardships happening at the same time-and my world came crashing down on me. My friends rallied when I couldn’t. My talented friend Allen Reed designed this logo and friends from all over joined the club. On October 16, 2016, I had a bilateral mastectomy. My fight club flooded social media uploading this logo as their profile pictures and wearing Cathy’s Fight Club shirts in support of my battle against breast cancer. A battle that I will win with my fight club behind me. I am so blessed to have a targeted drug that went along with my first 4 rounds of chemo. I will have my last Herceptin infusion on December 17, 2016! The countdown is ON! My dream is to keep the fight club alive when my battle is over and I am 100% cancer free. I want to help other fighters…just like my friends helped me. Visit Cathy’s Fight Club on Facebook for more information.
